Hi There,

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on the sale of this program and how much they think it could be worth?

It is just a single sheet programme, but it appears to be getting quite a lot of interest by collectors.

I haven't been able to find any information about it online.

Thanks for your advice guys,

Felix

If you are getting interest from collectors then I assume you have it advertised somewhere.

E Bay completed listing may give you an indication of current value. If not, try dealer's catalogues, although their prices will already have been loaded.

Thanks for the reply.

I have put it on eBay, but I have been made a couple of offers to end the auction early. I'm not sure whether to take them up on the offers as I have no idea what it is worth, although it has over 30 people watching it currently.

Cheers,

Felix

My advice is to NEVER end an auction early. Those who make offers are, in my experience, trying to get it cheap. The end price has always been a lot more than the offers received.

In view of the number of watchers you should get a fair price. Also remember that on E Bay most of the bidding on desirable items takes place in the last few minutes of the auction. So even if you do not have many bids up to then, they will happen.

Stick it out to the end and be patient.

Hope this helps, Martin

I should also have said that ending auctions early leaves you open to risks regarding getting safe payment and you lose the protection of E Bay / Pay Pal. It is better to have them onside.

Thanks for the advice. It is definitely an original programme. I inherited it from a great uncle, who left me his program collection, I don't think they have left the attic since the 1950s!

Manchester United averaged 33,000 that season, the Wolves game was the lowest with 15,000 Sad
