Programme Monthly claims to have 3000 subscribers... We have nearly 350 members on here and its growing by about 50 a month!

What do you collect Trickee?

Hi Craig, thanks for the reply.

I have about 2500 Leeds programmes from the 1940's onwards.

Richard.

Hi Richard,

Welcome to the boards, nice to see another Leeds collector on here. Do you collect home and aways?

I just collect homes, but aways from around 2002 ish plus any complete season of aways I can find.

I have almost all homes back to 1956/57, then that's when the gaps start to appear, hows about you?

Kenny

Hi Keeny, I have been working backwards and have all first team home and aways from 1980-81 to current season. I am well on with 70's and buy 50's and 60's when the price is right.

I have a lot of duplicate away's from 1980 onwards if you are interested.

Don't want to be involved in the play-offs this season.

Richard

Would be interested in complete or near complete seasons from the 1980's, I have complete seasons from 1980/81 and 1982/83 but looking for the others.

Has anyone got a spare 1955 Leeds v Halifax WRSC semi-Final Replay (October 17th) that they would like to sell?

Not spare mate, but be careful if you try and get one from eBay as there seems to be a lot of fakes about for this one, also with a friendly against Celtic in the same season.

Best bet is Michael Hewiit, but it will be quite expensive.

Hello mate, its actually the semi final replay i'm looking for, usually sells for around £400-£500 i was away the last time one turned up at Sportingold a few auctions back so was unable to bid that one sold for i think £420, its one of 3 Halifax programmes i need to complete my collection back to 54/55, the First match played October 3rd 55(also at Leeds) i've seen a few reprints of that one about although programme monthly couldn't decide which of the 2 they had was the actual reprint when they reviewed the programme last year - so this has lowered the price dramatically they go for about £5-£10, the border pattern going round the programme has a print error they thought on the reprint but other collectors who have had the programme over 30 years also have the same print errors to there's, a story came out that the unsold programmes had been 'rescued' by a steward after the match from the bin & he had kept them 30 years before selling up & this is why what was a very rare programme all of a sudden became common
