It is either dangerman's posts or the state of the ENglish game. Seriously though I love my country and used to get genuinely excited by the prospect of England in international tournaments but now just feel let down by a bunch of over paid pre madonnas ruled by a group of incompetent old farts. Will the last England fan please turn off the lights.... Crying or Very sad

I think the last time i was proud of an English football team was when i was a 16 year old watching Euro 96, World cup in 98 didn;t really spur much emotion, and after that it's just been absolutely pathetic performances by the players, who woudl want to be England manager, all the players with egos bigger than Wembley, and the only thing they care about is making sure that they still get those big fat sponsorship cheques rather than play with pride, honour and desire whilst wearing a shirt which should be worn with the greatest pride, and honour.

Totally agree with you Holtie. The players don't wear the England shirt for pride any more just interested in how much more money they can get. As for the F.A. the initials says what they know about the game & the feelings of the fans.

We might as well give into FIFA and join up with Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland for a Great Britain team, then we can all be depressed due to an pathetic underachiveing national side together, but then maybe some of the scots, welsh and irish guys woudl bring a bit of passion to the team/squad.

I have seen us in major tournaments thanks, and after allowing us fans time to save some cash and do other things, we'll be back in Brazil Bow

And your more likely to get there than us English as our players will be too busy tripping over their wallets when they get picked to play for England regardless of who is manager..

I have lost a bit of passion watching England these days, I hope we do well in the Euros this year.

This FIFA idea of joining up the British teams surely died along time ago when teams like Andorra and Faeroe Islands started entering international tournaments..there is simply no longer an argument for it anymore Confused

Can't afford to go to the Euro's, although after this weeks developments i'm glad, we won't get out of the group stage.

Booked up for Moldova in September and Poland in October though.
