The biggest programme fair of the year takes place on Saturday 1st June 2013 when the annual Premier Programme Fair is staged at London’s Royal National Hotel, Bedford Way WC1H 0DG 11am – 4pm.

Since the event moved the Royal National in 2010 the attendance has been a consistent 700/750 collectors which is by far the biggest fair attendance in the UK. The number of dealers exhibiting this year will again exceed 35. I would urge all forum members to make the effort to come along.

As well as adding to your collection and chatting/putting faces to the names of the dealers, the fair represents an excellent opportunity to meet fellow collectors and forum members for a chat/swop/drink etc… The hotel has a bar and there are numerous restaurants in the vicinity and at the nearby Euston/Kings Cross stations. How about forum members arranging a meeting at the fair?

I have listed the participating dealers below (in no particular order) with a brief stock summary. I have also included their email addresses should anyone wish to make contact for particular requests.

D G Taylor – Lymington based Dorian is one of the few remaining ‘catalogue producing’ dealers in the business. Fine stock of vintage programmes covering all clubs though QPR, Bournemouth and Accrington Stanley a speciality! [email protected]

Steve Harding – Keen Posh fan Steve presents extensive stocks of Peterborough, Lincoln PLUS reserve team programmes covering most clubs.

Clive Taylor – Bradford based Clive is another specialist in vintage programmes from all over the UK including Scotland. [email protected]

PM Publications – Founding Programme Monthly editor and co-organiser of this event John Litster offers his vast array of PM back issues. Stockist of bespoke programme binders, football history books and a selection of programmes from his huge archive. [email protected]

Soccer History – Editor Ian Nannestad offers the latest edition and also back issues of this high quality quarterly magazine devoted to the heritage of our national sport. [email protected]

Programme Monthly - Co-editiors Paul and Kevin celebrate their two year anniversary at the helm of the ‘World’s greatest football programme magazine’ Pick up the latest issue and meet them in person. [email protected]

Tom Roe – Fine selection of antique football memorabilia with a strong North-West bias. [email protected]

Mick Hewitt – Yorkshire’s largest dealer, Mick offers a huge selection of programmes with a particular emphasis on his beloved Leeds United. [email protected]

Terry’s badges – One of the UK’s leading football badge specialists. [email protected]

footballprogrammes.com – represented by fair co-organisers Elaine and David Allen. Pick up your copies of all the end of season big match finals and Internationals and view our fine range of vintage programmes. Show specials include over 1,000 excellent condition 1960s programmes available at £2 each, over 500 European Competition programmes same condition, same price. Books, magazines, badges, bargain bundles, Non League… Something for everyone at this stand! Check out www.footballprogrammes.com and email any requirements for collection at the fair to [email protected]

Colin Boulter – East Midlands based Colin has been involved in football programmes for well over 40 years now. Great stock boxes of all the London clubs and bargain bundles a particular strength. Email unknown?

John Dee Football Collectables – John and Teresa offer an excellent selection of programmes covering all aspects of the hobby from pre-war onwards. [email protected]

Barry Swash – West Midlands based Barry offers a wide array of vintage programmes and memorabilia from pre war to the 1960’s. [email protected]

Sportingold – Proprietor and keen Man City fan Chris Williams represents the hobby’s largest auction house. Pick up a catalogue, browse some straight sale antique stock, enquire about buying/selling at future auctions etc. [email protected]

I'll be there, only my 2nd fair.

Is anyone else going, and is it such a bad idea for a forum meet up?

It would be good for many reasons, but bad for 1 big reason.

I think most posters would be very different in the flesh than their big man hiding behind your keyboard anonymous internet warrior persona on the forum.

I'm black and white, a friendly, helpful if I can with no ulterior motive, genuine collector, more than happy to have a coffee and a chat with anybody who takes so much as a passing interest in football on any level.

This is the Christmas Day for programme collectors! If you're in two minds, make sure you go! I still laugh at some of the prices on dealers backboards! But there are around 5 dealers who have there stock priced reasonably. But of course I won't be mentioning any names! They are the ones who make the day worth while!

Too much in overheads to tempt any Scottish dealers. Stall Fees, Parking, Overnight stay, Fuel costs, extra's and a translator would be around £500

I will be there i will have around 100 Pre war, 400 1940s, and lots of Reserves and memorabilia to suit everyone.
My prices are not Harrods Prices or Asda Prices but somewhere in between AND IM OPEN TO EXCHANGES and reasonable offers.

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend this year. Shake
The main reason being a certain Play Off Final this coming Monday wiping me out of cash.
Roll on next year, when I will manage to get there.

Only bring rare stuff, there will be several hundred thousand items to flog.
Dealers buy collections and are not in a position to swap unless you have a few Red Star v Man United or and other VERY RARE ITEMS

I'm a new dealer, who only started last September, and will have a stall at Saturday's fair - with a wide selection of programmes on view from big games, the 1940's, 1950's and 1960's, Non-League, Scottish and Foreign, plus season 2012/13.
Anyone wanting to order programmes for collection at the fair, or a catalogue, should contact me via email [email protected], phone 01752-773039, or write to Westward Programmes, PO Box 116, Plymouth, PL2 9AX.

So, I'm the only one out of over 2500 members who has extended the hand of football memorabilia collecting friendship and you miserable bunch of buggers have all refused it.

I'll be the one in the corner, having a coffee on my own then. Crying or Very sad

I will be on the bottom right hand side as you come in. Im balding, fat, arrogant, a bit pongy and I love the company of men Love

I have met a few members of this forum and would love to meet others for a natter but I can't really justify the expense of a round trip to London on the off chance I might find the odd item for my collection.

Now if someone had said I am taking 100 Blackpool reserves/youth from the 1950s I might just have made the effort. Smile
