More to life than "winning".

I wouldn't want him at my club.

Must be something in the Uruguayan DNA.

They're all a bit loopy - didn't their long-serving 'keeper Mazurkiewicz breed "fighting rats" as a hobby?

I was actually shaking with rage watching the incident being played back.

Ivanovic should have knocked the guy out.

As the commentator said, Ron Harris wouldn't have been so polite!

I don't know whether to commend him on keeping his cool after being bitten or wonder what's up with him that he didn't at the very least get a sly elbow in before the final whistle.

Maybe I'm just too old school for this 'ere modern game!

He'd have been off if he'd lifted a finger in front of the Kop. Very professional reaction but I bet he looked for him in the tunnel!

Well, it's not the game I used to know.

If anyone had tried to bite a chunk out of Jack Nicholas or Ray Straw, said individual would now be in the A&E department of their local hospital.....and quite right too!

They'd also be asking their agent for the address of the nearest denture supplier Smile

You have to admit though, there's something to a game with a bit of bite in it. Laughing

Was shocked by Ivanovic's reaction, being a big lump of a Russian i was expecting a left jab and then a big right to knock out them oversized chompers from Suarez's mouth..

Aside from the obvious condemnation of Suarez biting Brattie Ivanovic it seems to have gone unnoticed that he probably was seeking to win a penalty by getting him to rise to it.

Anyway, on another note it was nice to see Liverpool score after 96 minutes - a rather apposite and rare time for a goal in the week of the Hillsborough Anniversary and the passing of Anne Williams.

I'm probably a lone voice here, but I love the mad little genius.

Off the pitch he's one of the quietest, most respectful footballers you'll ever meet - goodness only knows what goes off inside his head once he crosses that white line.

While I'm certainly not condoning what he did, I do find the media uproar somewhat hypocritical given that deliberate, career-threatening 'tackles' attract far less condemnation.

Likewise I don't recall any similar uproar when Defoe bit Mascherano the other year - but then again, there's been a media agenda against Suarez since day one.

It's just a pity that the little genius continues to play right into their hands.

i seem to remember a small ban of EIGHT months for Cantona when he did something just as stupid and he only did a stupid thing once.
This shit has now bitten twice and racially abused once.
Seems like a full season ban might be more appropriate.

On the other side the cheeky c**t wants to nominate which charity his money goes to and cleverly decides on the Hillsbrough Appeal to keep all the Liverpool fans on his side.

They will probably accept the money with gratitude and erect a stuatue to him and then they have more excuses to have a minutes applause.
One to celebrate the game he bit a Chelsea player and another minutes applause to the erection of the statue.

I personally would form a charity for a Justice for Ivanovic campaign
