Hiya,

Just to confirm that the catalogue should be available online from the 4th / 5th May.

Paper catalogues will be despatched on the 10th May, if your not on our mailing list for the Free catalogue please PM us with your details and we will add you to the list.

There are a limited number of lot spaces still available on both sale days so if your looking to auction an item / items once again please PM us with details.

I get an error on saleroom

Football Sport Auctions Limited
Two Day Sale of Sporting Memorabilia
Sorry...

We currently do not have any lots for this auctioneer. Check back soon for their next online sale.

Please browse our online catalogues to see what you could bid on today.

Also just a tip from your own site. Can you add a downloadable pdf or word catalogue. I like to search on key words and you need to search through loads of pages on your website.

Hiya,

Looks as though the Saleroom.com didn't upload the catalogue before they closed down for the Bank holiday. I would check back Tuesday for the illustrations.

The other ideas you have mentioned are also being worked on and should appear soon.

The most impressive item non programme wize is a very, very rare BEA inflight menu when United travelled to Germany to play Borussia Dortmund on the 20th November 1956 lot 984 that has 17 signatures and estimated at between £500-700.

So as the images have not been uploaded yet you can view a copy of mine with 27 signatures, is this the sort of gem you mean?:

Of course when there is one there will always be 2
Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing
If your keen to see several hundred more United rare signed and non signed menu's from the turn of the last century then visit the largest selection and widest variety of Newton Heath and Manchester United memorabilia since 1886 now on flickr at www.flickr.com/photos/manchesterunitedman1/sets or www.flickr.com/photos/manchesterunitedman1/ to chart the new uploads every week

Leslie Millman is manchesterunitedman1

yes lots of quality items.
Nothing that i need for my own collection but looking forward to seeing where the market is as i have two or three copies of many of the items already.

Many of the items on offer were originally auctioned in 2000 and were purchased by a main dealer at that time.
This dealer then sold them on.

The images are available to anybody who still has the catalogue from that important auction in 2000 or had a camera at the time to take photos
As it is all post war i can't guide you to my flickr page for viewing as i don't usually fill it up with modern crap

As a Manchester United fan I can see why supporters of other teams think we are big headed etc, you 2 don't half act like a couple of bell ends most of the time.

So enlighten us mere short cocked collectors Mr Adler, what is yours and Mr Millmans relationship actually like, bearing in mind that you both claim to have the biggest, most varied, oldest and presumably most valuable collection of Man Utd memorabilia anywhere in the world?
