Results from the 2nd Rd of the Prediction Cup

For the first time, the three sunday games (thats 48 different predictions) yielded errrr......0 points.

just a reminder, In the case of a tie:

1. The number of correct scores if still tied,

2. the number of points scored with your highlighted fixture will decide the fixture.

3. If in the unlikely event the scores are still level, countback will be introduced. Final six fixtures , then final 3, then matches 4 to 6, and then sudden death match 3, and then match 2. if we are still level there will have to be a replay.

Kenred 5-9 FloorPie
An inspired prediction of 3-0 to Blackburn at derby paved the way to victory over Kenred

Flash Hat 0-5 SurfinJim
Jimbo gets a walkover, not that Flashhat I suspect would be bothered after victory at carrow road.

JohnnyP 8-5 Atletico
Everton to the rescue for JohnnyP

Goonerboy 5-9 Holtie96
Holtie knocks out the Gooner thanks mainly to huddersfield and Leicester

Toffeedan 6-8 Lincolnredman
The merseyside derby comes out with the reds on top. ironically in real life its the other way round.

Rockyboro 9-10 Dj0505
Rocky can count himself unlucky as he goes out in the rounds high scoring thriller

NeilP 5-5 Swyndwr (Swyndwr wins on countback)
How close could this one be. Swyndwr takes it on the third countback rule.

Londonlilywhite 3-4 Posh1959
Posh gets lucky.

Ruudvandriver 4-4 Superajm (Ruudvandriver wins on suddendeathcountback)
Incredibly even closer than Swyndwr's victory. Ruudvandriver takes it on sudden death

Coolascustard 0-5 MaccProgrammeswanted
MaccProgrammes with a w/o

CrowdedHouse 0-5 Foxes1
Foxes1 with a w/o

kenners46 5-6 GreatBarrwolf
GreatBarrwolf with a narrow victory thanks to huddersfield and Leicester

SaintClarkie 3-0 1980Cossie
The Saints go marching on with this w/o

Wulfrunian 7-3 Gkb
The Wulf sinks his teeth into Gkb with Wigan's hammering of Macclesfield

Sharrowblade 8-8 Paulo (Sharrowblade wins on countback)
Little to seperate the boys until the third countback

WilebrownAstle 0-5 Robbo

In form Robbo goes through to the next round
