By abroad I mean outside the United Kingdom (so no, not Wales or Scotland or Northern Ireland (if you're English)

At the ground/venue:

1. Your team

(Everton) Belgium (pre-season), Germany (UEFA Cup)..

2. Any other game

Mallorca (v West Ham), Israel (league games - double-header)

3. Other sports:

Green Bay (American Football), France (Grand Prix)

Seen Grimsby play pre season tours in both Denmark and Sweden at the start of the century (this one, not the last!) On holiday have watched games in Naxos (largest island in the Greek Cyclades) Lanzarote, Majorca, Marseille vs Nice last season, Barcelona vs Shaktar Donetsk 2005 C.League, GAIS (Gothenburg) AIK Gothenburg, Orgryte (Gothenburg)
Seen Wales play France in the 6 Nations at the Stade de Paris (me, the wife, and 30,000 other Welsh folk - amazing) and seen Auchinleck Talbot in Belfast, the first time a Scottish Junior team have played in Northern Ireland.
Sure have watched numerous other games but memories fade with time.....

Toronto Blue Jays v Seattle Mariners at American Rounders!

Shouldn't say that really as it is now one of my favourite sports.

I'd love to be able to watch derbies all across Europe or even just the BIG games.

I've obviously done an English derby: Everton vs Liverpool.

I'd love to do the following games though:

AC Milan vs Inter Milan
Barcelona vs Real Madrid
Rangers vs Celtic
Porto v Sporting Lisbon (is that the biggest game in Portugal?)

And I can't think of anymore at the moment!

Are they hard to get tickets for?

hmmm funny that i had a very unpleasant experiance at Plymouth when i went with my cousin to see them at Home to Gillingham early/mid 90's, after the game we were near the train station and the plymouth fans were hurling bricks etc at the gills fans there, we looked at each other and though stuff that, i said i got an aunt in cornwall so we stood on the opposite platform got the train into cornwall and went home the next day, first sighting of football violence and was appalled to be honest

Worst game: Well from an Everton perspective: 0-4 home v Bolton late 2005 would be right up there (and only weeks after going to The Hawthorns where we gave in 4-0 - Gallagher gave a pen when Earnshaw belly flopped INTO the area). The week before, strangely, I had enjoyed us dominate in a 1-1 at Old Trafford. Here we were ok for 30-40 minutes but some of the Bolton boot boys made sure they softened us up and the ref (Wiley), frankly was just dire. We went 1-0 down against the run of play and, for a while still did ok. But they hit us (literally) 3 times in 5 minutes late on and it was a dispiriting moment - to lose 4-0 at home against an ordinary team. Next up we were walloped 4-0 at Villa (Mike Riley allowed a double-handball in the build-up to (I think the first) and a clear shove in the box (for the 2nd) but miraculously we had one disallowed too). Prior to this game we had our rare home defeat to West Ham (1-2) - it happens every 11 years apparently (72, 83, 94, 05).

This wasn't the best fortnight of my life either - my mother died a few days later (on the day we lost 3-1 at home to Liverpool, frankly it could have been 10-1 for all I cared)

But that game sticks out in my mind cos it's just about the only time I've regretted going to the game (it was a 400 mile round trip in those days).

2-6 at home to Man U, 0-5 at home to Liverpool would be a couple of results worth erasing from the memory banks!!

In terms of entertainment - or not in these instances - some 0-0 draws over the years have been awful.
