It would be good if we could have a list of as many programme related Flikr sites on this thread as possible, and a brief explanation of what they cover.

There's a few I have seen in people's signatures where I have to hunt out a post of theirs to find it as I haven't bookmarked it.

As can be seen, there is a growing number of Forum members who have now developed Flickr sites and they have provided links for other members to view their collections. They have been painstakingly put together and are a labour of love providing a good reference of a clubs memorabilia.

Maybe it’s time for a Flickr section on the forum, with this thread taking the lead instead of it being rather obscure and hidden away. Obviously as more Flickr sites are developed, like the Hearts one this evening, then the links can be added to this thread or separately on another thread under a clubs name?

It will provide quicker and better access.

Here is my effort, mainly Donny with a few other bits n pieces. It's taken about 2 years to get this far, but certainly well worth it and a great way of cataloging what I have.

Still got more non Donny stuff to go on, but that was the priority.

I think Flickr is a great way of sharing the hobby

Welcome to flickr JJ

Uploaded some England Schools / Youth Internationals in the last few days - all featuring Barnsley players. Included some inside pages as it's always interesting to see who made it and who fell by the wayside. More to be uploaded

A man after me own heart! fantastic collection of International games to see "who made it", also Jasper Redfern programme fabulous!

So much enjoyment for being able to look into everyone's collections whether it is from the year dot or in recent times-every flickr site is personal and is shown with pride and passion and allows the neutral to see what has been rescued over the years and put into a wonderful historical "document" that can be added too on an on going basis.

"We are all Custodians and Curators of our own "Museums"

Well Done Barnsley and everyone one else.

There once was talk of a regular spot for flickr sites so everyone can go to them and spend time seeing what's what, it is also a great source of information as I see items that I can now look out for!.

I have sent messages to both Craig and Jamie to see if this can be put into practise sooner than later!

Everyone can benefit.

In the meantime, I've also started a Flickr page covering the Cheshire Senior Cup and the Cheshire Bowl. Hopefully, in time, I'll be able to include the scores, etc, as well.

Great to see some more sites being set up, especially the Cheshire Senior Cup one. That's always been a part-time collection of mine. Would love to know if you have any spares of the finals I don't have Smile

The ones I do have are here:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/wrexhamprogs/sets/72157650286717021/

I've also added tags and descriptions to all my images now, nearly 5,000 in total. All are grouped into the following categories:

Wrexham First Team Programmes
Wrexham Reserve Programmes
Welsh Cup matches at Wrexham FC
Welsh Amateur Cup matches at Wrexham FC
European Club matches at Wrexham FC
Rugby League matches at Wrexham FC
Rugby Union matches at Wrexham FC
Football Conference Play-Offs
Cheshire Senior Cup Finals

I also have an almost complete collection of FC United of Manchester programmes (3 missing!) since their formation 10 years ago. Will get round to adding those over the summer.

The collections can be viewed here:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/wrexhamprogs/collections/

Plus more on my main site:

I think you are doing better on the Finals then me, although I do have a spare 2013-2014 Northwich Vics v. Tranmere final if you're interested. Tonight is the 2014-2015 final at Nantwich, Northwich Vics v. Macclesfield (I can pick up one of those too if you want one).

You have an excellent Wrexham collection, I'm hoping that my club (Chester I'm afraid) will be doing something themselves soon.

With regards your FC United collection, you may already know this site:

Good site Jason, a lot of hard work has gone into it like everyone else who has joined Flickr.

Hopefully we all will have a link to it on the forum and will be able to see everything available and perhaps to encourage others!.

For me it has been the best thing for sure when it comes to displaying your items.

Thanks for the offer. If you don't mind picking up a copy tonight that would be great. If you let me know how much you want for that one and last year's I can pay via PayPal or send a cheque whichever you prefer. PM me with your details.

I was hoping to go tonight but work has scuppered that idea. I used to go to the finals regularly in the 1980s and 90s. They always used to be on May Day Bank Holiday from what I can remember.

Sadly my my website and Flickr account aren't a reflection of my collection. I've had lots of help from other collectors sharing scans. I've almost got the point where finding the missing scans are more important to me than filling the gaps in my physical collection!

I was aware of the FC United site, frustratingly there aren't any contact details to get in touch with the chap who runs it.

I'm wanting to put a lot of my old Beatles/UK psychedelia 45s and EPs from around the world up on my site - but I'd prefer to keep that side of my collecting separate from the football.

Anyone know if there's an option to have two Flickr sites on the one account?
Or will I just have to merge the two subjects onto the one?

Is now up and running.
See the sticky thread at the top of this section.
Sorry it's a bit messy, had to use the template that Ctaig provided a few years ago.
