I aint gotta clue about all this shirt collecting business, so would like a little feedback from you Toffee's and shirt collectors.

My friend back home has a shirt from the first prem season, its the salmon pink and blue striped away one. The autographs on it were from the novembr 93 match away against wimbledon (2nd season of prem). The autographs are Neville Southall, Tony Cottee, Gary Ablett, Graham Stuart, John Ebbrell, Barry Horne, Matt Jackson, Ian Snodin, and Dave Watson.

All comments and values welcome.

Cheers Mr G. xxxx

He wanted a valuation really. His father and him have alot of stuff they are sorting through.....Man Utd and Everton.
The odd one or two things he is asking me for a valuation and i aint gotta scooby on shirts.

He also has a Northern Ireland shirt, signed on the badge by George Best.

So if anyone can give me a rough figure i can get back to him. He may sell it......I dont know.

Hi, i sold a few shirts a while ago on ebay and I have noticed that the prices of signed shirts have dropped. If a letter of authenticity can be supplied ie by the club this does help. I sold a fully signed Chelsea shirt guaranteed by the club for £100 about 10 years ago and a Leeds one from 1998 for only £36 last year. I also have an Everton fully signed shirt from 1998 which didn't sell at £50.
Match worn shirts are a different matter though.
As for George Best his signature has increased in value if it is genuine and I would value the shirt at auction at approximately £75.
My view of the Everton shirt would be a realistic £50-£70 but all depends on who wants it and where it is listed.
There are many forgeries around so any provenance helps.
This is all just my opinion.
Hope it helps,
Best wishes
Holtie

If he's feeling generous he could donate it - places like Blue Kipper will auction it for some kid's charity and probably get £250 for it.

If he wanted to get something out of it perhaps he could offer everything over say £100 to the charity. I'm not sure but I'd guess if he tried to sell it on ebay he might get £50-80 but it's not really my area.

Obviously he could take his chances but it seems £100 would be a good price to me. Southall (and Watson (Horne, Cottee)perhaps) aside no big deal ..

I was hoping a few of the Everton shirt collectors from the old Everton programme forum would have registered and give you an indication.

I only sent a message to all of them last week so hopefully in the next few days we'll have some more on here.
