I went to see the great Luigi Riva play for Cagliari in this comp at The Hawthorns West Bromwich Albion (C) 1970, there was a grave doubt about him playing in this game has he was carring a bad injury. He made the Cagliari starting xi,but whent down after the first challange and was stretcherd of never to return . do believe to this day the fans were coned and his inclustion was only to boost what was anyway a very poor gate.
