Programmes are £6 at the moment. Just do what I do and wait a few weeks and buy one on ebay for half the price.

Tickets are currently £35 to £65 for England games.

Bring it on indeed!!

Most games also have family area tickets available (£20 adults, £10 U16's) which are in the lower tier at one end of the pitch.

So do I....but for socio economic purposes, rather than rampant nationalism. Oh, and for getting rid of English football commentators as well, of course!

No can do, they're lapsed Jocks, bar Lawro who's a plastic Irishman, not good enough to play for Ingerlund.

I can see there being several thousand Scotland fans in the home areas. Out of my friends who often go to England games, I'm the only one who's genuinely excited about this - arguably means more to Scottish fans who seem to 'understand' the rivalry a bit more.

Me and a couple of mates (They are both Scotland fans) are considering going. How easy is it to purchase tickets? None of us are members or have a previous booking history with England. We would ideally have liked tickets in the Scotland section but that is unlikely as none of us are SSC members.

Any help would be very much appreciated. Many thanks.

I go to all the England homes, so have a programme subscription - works out a bit cheaper per issue (still £4.83 inc postage though)

As for tickets, if you go to all the England home games, it's well worth joining englandfans - me, the wife and my son are members, and we can buy tickets at a reduced price for all home games - in the family section (lower tier) members pay just £15 adults, £7.50 kids for friendlies. With the likes of Brazil, Scotland and Ireland all visiting in 2013 (plus the last 2 World Cup Qualifiers and a possible playoff) it's well worth the money.

For any Scotland fans wanting an England end ticket, but not wanting to pay for Englandfans membership, it's worth registering for a FAN number now* (it's free to do so and you have to have one to buy tickets off the FA anyway - remember to keep a note of your FAN number and password!) and look out for ticket offers for preceding England home games. The FA recently did a thing where those who bought a ticket for the San Marino home game would have a priority sale period over the general public sale (scrum) for next Feb's Brazil home friendly.

Alternatively, just wait for the general public scrum, but be quick!

*Using an English address of course.
