Been offered some 1930's lower league programmes. Not viewed them yet so can't tell you which teams are involved.

So I know its a pretty generic question but what would you expect to pay for a bog standard 1930's programme.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Jim

I know of two People that have bought Rovers progs from the 30's and both cost between £100 and £160. Neither were against one of the big clubs by the way.

Cheers Pirate!

I had a figure of £80-£100 in my head, but the more info I can get to gauge, the better.

I've picked Boston 30's homes up for £30-£70 each.

The only problem with non league stuff is a very limited collectors base. Also prices fluctuate with regional variation, southern clubs invariable fetch much less than northern clubs.

Let me know if there's any Boston or Lincs non league in the box, I'm not in a position to buy at present but I know a bloke who is always interested.

I would be interested in any non league 30's esp any featuring Worcester City.

I normally pay £10 - £30 for Worcester ones who are one of the better collected southern clubs

Thanks for the info guys.

It turned out to be a huge collection of most clubs from the 50's and 60's and lots of internationals, firendlies etc.

I got up to £600 and he was still unsure, so left it with him. Bumped into him at our local post office this morning and he's put them into auction in November at Stevenage Borough. (Don't know who its through). They've told him to expect £800 approx plus, but after commission, who knows. Hey ho, you win some, you lose some!

The auction will be http://www.footballsportsauctions.co.uk/

They only take 10% commission which is good and i also have 2 lots up for sale in their Novemeber auction.
