Many of you who follow Non League football would of heard of this great man.

He ran a Non-League Football Statistics site at http://www.tonykempster.co.uk/

Unfortunately, Tony passed away on Sunday evening due to his long running battle with cancer.

Although I have never spoken to him or had contact before I always knew of his website. He will be sorely missed by many.

I knew about his illness for a while, but didn't realise that he'd died. I used his website regularly, but like yourself had never spoken to him. However everyone I know who has met or spoken to him held him in high regard, and his website was a fantastic resource which he must have dedicated so many hours to.

RIP Tony.

Indeed so, RIP, a name I had heard in passing. One of the legions of heroes who keep the non-league and lower league club scene going.

Through Tonys site I have met many a decent person who helped me in my hobby of collecting Wycombe programmes. His site was always the first one I would enter on a Sunday morning to find out how my village team Flackwell Heath had performed the day before. R.I.P Tony, you had many friends around the world.

Only been reading his forum for a short while but i know how respected he was and how much time must have gone into his website which so many people get so much out of.

RIP Tony.
