Kaka £56M
Ronaldo £80M
David Villa £40M

Shocked

Who else?

Incredible amounts of money being thrown around, if they can play well as a team, they have a chance of the title next season, maybe a Champions League Final appearane as well.

Has Villa been confirmed now?

I have also heard Frank Ribery too for around £25 M!!!

They will have an amazing attacking team next year, but I still worry about their defence.

The thing I get annoyed by is that when chelsea spend over 20 million were accused of buying the title. Yet it seems that real madrid are looking as if they are going to spend in excess of 200 million and that seems to be ok. I understand chelsea are lucky enough to spend more than most teams but every team has to spend in order to win competitions consistently nowadays.
I still think barcelona will be better than real madrid as they will play as a team rather than a collection of superstars.

When all the players gel it is going to be Galacticos II

Reading that Alonso and Arbeloa from us could be going and in return we get Heinze and Robben.

Also noted that Ashley Cole, KARIM BENZEMA & Franck Ribery are linked

Carlos Tevez i saw linked about 3 weeks ago.

Now who else can they sign?

Robben was a huge player for Madrid last season and will be a big loss if they let him go, even with them bringing in Ronaldo and Kaka. I've watched him in the Dutch International games as well and he seems to be the one that the majority of chances are created through.

In so many ways I am glad I follow a small team.
What is happening in the top leagues is not football any more.
They may as well give the title and champions league spots to the richest clubs in each country from now on.
In fact why not just take all those teams and bung em in a rich league so the rest of us can get on with real football.

No disrespect meant to the proper fans of those clubs meant.

Villa move in doubt.

http://www.goal.com/en/news/12.....eal-madrid

Valencia have changed the terms of the transfer at the last minute and Real Madrid may have to look elsewhere.

Also, Franck Ribery is in talks with Real over a move from Bayern Munich.

Wouldn't cross the road to watch any of them. It's not football, it's blatant commercialism, and the players of the 1955 to 1960 Real Madrid teams must wonder what planet their phoney successors live on.
Glad Kaka and Ronaldo have gone there, there was a rumour that they might have signed for Auchinleck Talbot, and if that was the case I might have shot myself. It would certainly have cost more than a fiver to watch my football, and I don't think that a promise of a decent swally and a scotch pie thrown in would ultimately have kept them happy. Result? We'd probably drop down the league quicker than Joan Collin's underpants. Moral - beware the money men in suits with shiny faces who want to trun your football club into a "viable commercial enterprise" Fuck em.

In Spain Real Madrid are the Castillian club ,as Barcelona are the Catalonian club .The differences dont just apply to sport ,but go back to the Spanish Civil War apparently, and the aftermath.Franco was a staunch supporter of Madrid ,and in latter years it was quite obvious successive Spanish Governments have looked kindly on the Madrid club in preference to the Barcelona club as far as financial matters. In fact has been said that Real Madrid represent Spain,Or so I have been told by a Spanish friend. It seem they have a limitless supply of cash, and even Manchester City the "nouveau riche" of the Premiership arent in the same category.
Whatever it seems now that Real Madrid, and La Liga have all the top stars in Messi ,Villa ,Ronaldo, and who next perhaps?Ribery,
As past pirate says sometimes its better to be a fan of the smaller clubs ,the true grass roots of Football, and long may they flourish.
A local club Hyde United Blue Square Conference League north ,a club known for the Record defeat by P.N.E 26-0 ,could go under if £26,000 isnt found by July.as could Accrington Stanley, and no doubt others.Compare this to £80 million transfer fee,and wages of £150,000+ perhaps weekly for Ronaldo. However that is how it is in Football today, like it ,or not,and what can be done I am not sure. Sad

I hate the way Real Madrid are extorting the market. I heard on SSN that Glen Johnson is gonna be costing £18m????

That is too much for him. £7m/8 at the most. Yes he is good but compared to certain other defenders he is not worth £18m.

I was surprised when Carlos Tevez representatives wil tlk 2 1 spanish club it was not Real Madrid. So im guessing Barca especially with rumours Etoo is coming to Liverpool.
