Interesting one.

£1 start but only offering Special Delivery so the seller was expecting this one to fly. It will be interesting to see the final price.

A sensible Pompey collector.

The Chelsea boys think nothing of paying £400+ for it.

It's a bit like a stock market bubble whereby they all convince eachother that the going rate is a crazy price and no one wants to be the first to say that is a load of crap.

Very Happy

Work with the guy selling that, saw it first hand at work last week, he had quite a few 40's 50's etc Pompey programmes, he has quite a few still to put on e-bay, he also brought 26 Chelsea shirts for 80 odd quid and got that plus some back on two 80's shirts that were amongst that lot.

Very rare due to the fact very few copies survived the torrential rain that night.

What I don,t understand is why would 10 people bid (21bids so far)

surely for an item that would go quite high a last minute snipe will win.........

Ps I have a clean copy......£500........no e bay fees or bidding !!!!!!!!!

I suppose it all comes down to how much you want it, can afford to pay and then holding your nerve.

Found it unusual no one mentioned the final price the programme went for........£182 which doesn't appear to be too bad a price for this rare Pompey/chelsea programme?
