Celtic youth pennant help please

Hope my friends over the border can help with this pennant
Pease excuse m ignorance but is this match pennant from a celtic youth team or a Northern Irish team bearing their name?
I assume it was either exchanged at the game or it was a souvenir on sale on the day?

Stephen, only just seen this so apologies for any delay. I'm assuming that as the date for the game is early July that it is a pre season friendly, and I'm also assuming that because it's in Derry, not Londonderry, that there's probably an understanding between the clubs? Celtic have played friendlies with their youth teams for donkeys years and they always tend to send such teams to Junior clubs for testimonials, and I've seen such teams at Auchinleck.

It's not definitive but it does appear to be a friendly involving Glasgow Celtic youths. Hope that helps?

Hi John and thanks for the reply. The mystery was solved via Twitter and it is the Foyle Cup Final and John Potter was the captain. I was even sent this photo via Twitter. It clearly shows my pennant in the picture! The wonders of the Internet!
