I have been thinking about this subject and I'm sure everyone on here knows of programmes that are definetly reprints.

It might be useful if there was a full list. I'm not sure how many are out there or even if this is a never ending list.

For example I see lots of Liverpool European Cup Finals on eBay (1977 & 1985).

Cheers Thumbs Up

Definitely a worthy topic. A good starting point for big match programmes in Centre Spot

Completely agree I nearly bought a chelsea v Leicester 1960s league cup semi on Sunday in an antique shop in Brighton only to discover that it was a reprint along with a chelsea handbook and some other items. Reprints are a pain in the arse and should be described as such on the back cover!

Yeovil Town v Sunderland 1949 is the one that springs to mind. Often seen for sale on eBay and impossible to tell by photos if it's the real thing or the reprint. The seller gives the reply , sorry, but can't tell if it's genuine. been in the family for years. Of course the reprint is quite old now and would probably look dated. Hence I would never buy this one on eBay.

Even the seller doesn't know on this 1945/45 Swindon v Bristol City programme.
Looks genuine from the photo. Yes I hate reprints.
