1926/27 Cardiff City v Sunderland BIN for £80 . The price reflects the fact the outer cover is missing. This is obvious to a serious collector , but the seller does not actually state this in the description, which is a little bit naughty I think. Cardiff fans, what would the cover look like ? Apologies if there is already a thread on this subject.

I raised this some time ago regarding one against Blackpool without a cover.

I was prepared to pay £80 if I could have obtained a reproduction cover but alas nothing was forthcoming.

Have a look here for covers.

A reproduction cover would be difficult as it would have to have the correct date on it to match the programme. Unlike say for example pre war Arsenal which are all the same for every game in any season.

I personally dont understand people who wreck bound volumes, i think a serious Cardiff collector would pay more for the bound volume intact than a combined total of all the single programmes would make.

Give me a Rovers bound vol any day rather than individual programmes without covers.

I couldn't even get one for that particular season which I could have tried to reproduce with the correct date, let alone one from the precise game.

Rafferty is a "she" not a "he".

From what I know of Denise (I think) she manages to get her hands on some good memorabilia. I have bought programmes off her in the past with no problems.

Yes to be fair she does have a lot of good programmes at decent prices, I would be tempted to buy some myself.
