i have a signed paper of barrow from 1933-34 and wondered how much it is worth as someone might have a collection to buy it for the club.

It's worth what you paid for it. I'd doubt the club would be that interested in it.

it would look good framed with a team photo of that era. Impossible to value . Stick it on eBay and see what happens.

I agree, as I said these are impossible to value. Why do people keep asking for valuations ? Who collects this sort of stuff, do they already have something similar , can they afford a bidding war near Christmas, gas bills going up, a small lottery win. You can go on for ever.
Someone with years of experience could guess a answer and be miles out.
How much is a Crystal Palace postcard worth ??? £1420 . It's crazy.

Agreed. Like a lot of memorabilia there is no definitive guide of prices. Even if there was one any sale would still depend on what the seller is expecting and what the buyer is willing to pay. Dangerman - you are familiar with auctions so you should be aware of this.

You can always stick a reserve on it on E Bay so if it does not sell then it has only cost you the fees.

I am very surprised dangerman that you regularly ask the same type of questions regarding valuations and is it worth anything.

You have told us recently you are a business seller on Ebay.

You have also indicated that you go to auctions and buy items.

You sell items you have bought at auction and you also sell on behalf of other people.

You're obviously a collector as well although I am not sure what you specialise in.

You are therefore probably more qualified than most to answer your own questions.
