Hi, I bought this programme the a4 sized Hamburg leg a few weeks back and paid £67. The programme is in pretty good condition only defects being it has been folded and one staple is missing. Did I get a bargain?

I dont know much about the programme itself, but going buy a price guide published by Programme Monthly around 2 years ago, they say it should sell for around £500... So Yes!

Liverpool collectors may be able to correct me though if im wrong.

Shocked Blimey that would be nice. I know there was another smaller programme produced for this game which is meant to be rarer again.

HSV aktuell is the official Club issue.

Lipphardts is a private produced programme. These progs weere issued for games in northern Germany. Mostly homegames of Hamburger SV, St. Pauli and Hannover 96. Also issues for German internationals played in Hamburg and Hannover are known.

These private programmes, were very common in Germany after WW2 until the mid ninetys. Famous Issues are

"die Blaue" from Munich (covers 1860 and Bayern)
"Blick" issues for league games all over Germany known
"Mannschaftsaufstellung" from nuremberg
"Lipphardts" from Hamburg
"HaBo" covers especialy North-West Teams

Do you know what the ''sondervofschau'' issues are? were they just printed for matches at Koln/Cologne? I have one for Germany v Ireland 1952 & also a couple for Liverpool matches v Koln but not seen any more, they always seem to sell for 10 higher than normal programmes at those matches,

Can someone give me a definite list of (say) post 1960 Rare and expensive Liverpool programmes?

I think I am aware of the Charity Shield v West Ham 64 as one, perhaps the away (and maybe home leg) v Reykjavik (first Euro tie?) and the 1996 FA Cup Final v Man U

I guess this one is another one tho.. so can anyone add any more to that list?

Cheers

Dan

The white edition '77 European cup final. Black edition '84 ECF. 1985 Super cup v Juventus and the two Japan versions of the 81 and 84 World club championship. Also the 73 away leg of the uefa cup final. That's a few i can think of.
