Does anyone know if any of the clubs involved in the inaugural season of the lowland league will be producing programmes?

It might be an interesting side collection.

Excellent thank you.

Will you be taking in any games round your way Tynie?

I am thinking about adopting East Kilbride FC as they're just down the road.

Unlikely as I follow my local Junior team, and then the odd Hearts game. That said, never say never......

I'll be taking in Dalbeattie's first home game. It's a midweek one vs local rivals Threave Rovers, and I understand there's a programme going to be issued, though that's hearsay. With such a big historic game, and the teams only 5 miles apart, I predict a crowd of about 250.

When I saw them at Threave last season in the title decider, there was just over 300 by my head count, but a few of those had come in at half time for nowt.

Not a problem, I'm going to try and get one from each team's home games, albeit I think I'll be a couple short because of non producers.

Well I am going to EK FC V Selkirk so I'll pick you one up.

According to the Pie & Bovril thread above EK will be producing but it's not confirmed.

Preston Athletic - yes
Whitehill Welfare - yes
Gretna - yes
Spartans - yes
Edinburgh City - yes
Gala Fairydean - yes
Stirling Uni - yes
Vale of Leithen FC - yes
EK FC - produced for a friendly so would think they will regularly
Dalbeattie Star - 1st match unsure after that
Threave Rovers - no

Hopefully getting 5 of those sent me. Was at Dalbeattie vs Threave last night and got 5 there, although it's as basic as you'll get, and cost £1. Also ordered 5 from a Threave committee man who was there, and they play their first home game on Saturday and they're £2 each. Have also got Preston Athletic and Vale of Leithen through the door today. All being well will have 5 complete sets come the weekend.

If they're all the same size I'm going to get 2 bound volumes done for msyelf, and from the others, one set will be sold on behalf of Auchinleck Talbot, one will be sold on my behalf to try and recoup some of the outlay and the other one will be used as an exchange sometime in the future.

That is true John, but when I cannot get one I can always blame you for misleading me!!!!!!! Very Happy

I went to Blundell Park on Saturday - I cannot see Grimsby getting any further than the play-offs come seasons end, but the fans were amongst the friendliest I have come across in a long time! Clap
