Bohemians are doing a double programme. One half devoted to the Derby game tomorrow and the other half for their game against Bradford City tomorrow week.

just got back from Posh v UCD and Shelbourne. Fantastic couple of days in a great great city!

One small gripe - Went to buy a programme from the UCD game and some lovely Irish collector had bought the last dozen programmes to sell on ebay. It meant some of us who had travelled over to watch Posh in Dublin didn't manage to get a programme. Surely if we put in that much effort to go to the game we should have first dibs at the programmes? Fortunately i managed to get one as a kind UCD fan gave me his. Apparently they only printed 40

No idea who got the last 12. I got the first 7 and another Irish collector got the next 4. I doubt he is even on ebay. They are for other collectors here apart from one I have on ebay. Hope the other 12 don't go up before sunday night.

Programmes were on sale until at least 15 minutes before kickoff. Most were sold to Posh fans from what I can tell. I was standing near the hut chatting to someone.

What do you expect UCD to do? Do Posh keep programmes back solely for away fans who arrive close to kickoff.

The printrun was probably 50 btw. There were a few freebies for media and teams but probably not too many.

Glad you enjoyed your trip and got a programme anyway.

Posh don't need to keep programmes back as they print far too many most games! I still think if you're printing 40/50 copies you shouldn't sell more than 3/4 copies to one person. If there are still some left at the end then go for it. Posh had 2 freebies, one to Barry Fry and one to the press officer, I know because I sat with them!

As for on sale 15 minutes, i saw the bloke that bought the last 12, I asked him of he was selling programmes and he told me they were on sale just inside on the left - he took the last 12 and made a sharp exit! That was 15 minutes before ko

And Dublin is still a fantastic place! Although I think I've kept temple Bar in business for another 6 months at least

It may have been me that you met as I left just after 7.30pm and was asked by one fan was I selling programmes. However I had been there an hour at that stage waiting for teamsheets and chatting to a friend. I got the first 7 programmes and programmes were still on sale when I left. I suspect it was a posh fan who bought the last 12 as I didn't notice any other Irish collectors going in at that stage.

I had one spare which sold on ebay for 99p and a loss to me as I paid 2 euro for it. No big deal. However a Posh collector still has some up so presumably is the guy that got the last 12.

UCD clearly didn't expect the demand but they do plan to sellout every game. Should they have sold the last 12 to the same guy 15 minutes before kickoff is open to debate. However I'm sure his 12 has probably covered the collectors so it may be another case of a programme that was hard to get o nthe night but all the collectors were sorted.

Bristol City lost out 1-0 to Rangers in a pretty uninspiring friendly - fair play to Rangers though, over 2500 fans packed our away end.

Eck, do you want my match ticket?

regards, Mark
