Good idea for a thread foxes.

That's quite a lot of matches arranged so early on.

Never happens that early with Blackpool.

It is usually the back end of June or early July before we know our full line up.

Just one definite so far and that's York City away on 20th July.

We are also playing Newcastle United at home which I think will be on Sunday 28th July but it has yet to be confirmed.

I presume they are all away sharrow.

I wouldn't mind a trip to Scotland for a few days to see Blackpool play on some different grounds.

Yes mate they are, but they're a bit early, the little un's are still at school, and my proposed weekend in Edinburgh with the munsters... so we can take in the Cowdenbeath game isn't going down very well with the missus.

Its all because I haven't offered to take her with us Laughing

Coventry City pre-season friendlies:-

13th July Nuneaton Town
23rd Cheltenham Town
24th Fleetwood Town
26th Mansfield Town
27th Oxford United

All these are away fixtures as their venue for next season has not been announced yet. I would seem that a ground share with Walsall is favourite at the moment. There is also a visit to Holland from the 14th where they will also play a few games against Dutch teams.

Wolves have 3 and a bit friendlies announced !!!

16/7 Wrexham
20/7 Barnsley
23/7 Chesterfield

all are away

The 'bit' is that they have announced a home friendly for 27/7 but not the opponents yet. Usually its a premier league or foreign opponent thats about all I know.

As for programmes, Wrexham have done them in previous friendlies, and we always do them. Would expect Barnley and Chesterfield to, but can anyone confirm?

No I have not switched my alliance to the Cod Army but as Fleetwood's Highbury Avenue is only 3 miles further from home than Bloomfield Road I sometimes go there when Blackpool do not have a game.

Fleetwood Town friendlies so far

Thu 04/07 Northwich (A) at Flixton
Sat 20/07 Preston NE (H) Nathan Pond testimonial
Wed 24/07 Coventry City (H)
Sat 27/07 Southport (A)

There are also 2 games in Austria on the 9th and 12th with opponents to be confirmed.

York are currently scheduled to play Huddersfield, Leicester, and Blackpool as mentioned by other posts.

A possible match against Sheffield United also being suggested but no date is set yet for that one.

Just drop me a PM if you want any programmes from any of the York games, cover price plus postage. I suspect there will be a couple of joint programmes if there are four games.

Wolves have now added a home fixture with Real Betis on 27th July. Also noticed that programmes for the three away fixtures are available on the club website to pre-order.
