Hi
This has nothing on the back but seems to be a goal celebration.
Someone said it could be Kidderminster, but these aren't their shirts/sponsors etc.
Also looks a bit like Oxford (Jeremy Charles No 10?) but again not their usual sponsors.
And the stadium - does it look familiar?
Any clues please?
Cheers
Pete

It doesn't look like them to me, but I definately remember a "La Lupa pizzeria" being advertised at AFC Bournemouth's ground, it was and still is on nearby Poole quay.

Cant make the sponsor out. Who is the sponsor on the shirts.
Looking at the advertising hoardings, Patrick supplied Southampton in the 1980's.
That could well be their ground.

The number 4, looks like Steve Williams from the back.

I cant think of any other clubs who were supplied by Patrick

Thanks guys

If it's Saints &/or The Dell, why would they be wearing all white at home, against a team in yellow & black (probably)? Steve Williams left them in 1984 too so not many years with sponsors prior to that.

I suppose it could be Bournemouth though they wore all red in the 80's.

I've tried blowing the kit up but it's not good enough quality - see here

That's 400dpi so I can't get a better view of the sponsor I'm afraid.

Steve - got your ticket yet?

Derby was early 80s.

Still trying to make that sponsor out. Could it be Cristal Tiles. If it is, that would be a Stoke City away shirt.

Yes Pete I have my ticket. Looking forward to Monday??

HI,

It looks like the dell, the old milton road if my memory is right.

It may be for a hampshire senior cup final or something, as the top tier is near on empty.

Thanks to all who tried to help, I was going to stick this on my website but not much point without a club to file it under. Never mind.

Further to your kind suggestion, Great Barr Wolf, we all know that kit was a Tesco carrier bag with cut-outs for the arms. Not sure if the sponsor matches though, but if it's Brighton it would explain why the stand is empty.

Yes, Steve, very much. Are you going to the Green Man?

No Pete, I wont be in the Green Man. I shall be meeting up with friends and family, at The Windermere in South Kenton.

Cheers Holtie, I'll mail it to a Saints historian I know. Maybe they hosted a cup replay or something?

I don't think it's Oxford the short shorts suggest late 70's and I think Oxford had thin blue stripes then.

Could that player be Danny Wilson?

If so................

Bury 77-80
Chesterfield 80-83
Nottingham Forest 82-83
Scunthorpe United (on loan) 83-84
Brighton 83-87
Luton Town 87-90
Sheffield Wednesday 90-93

and possibly playing at the Dell.
