Saddened to hear of the sudden death Brian Greenhoff he was only 60.

Sad news regarding the passing of Brian Greenhoff ,a wholehearted player who gave sterling service for his years at Manchester United.R.I.P Brian ,sincere condolences to his family.

Very sad to hear of his passing away.

Brian Greenhoff was a true United legend, a Stretford End hero and will be remembered by all who witnessed him play.

So saddened to hear about the younger Greenhoff. Had to re-read the Daily Express report on the Ajax Uefa Cup home match in 76 when the Doc took Gerry Daly off and moved Brian up from the back into midfield where he proceeded to run the game in the second half and we won 2-0. The headline on the back page was “Greenhoff the Great” and I’ve never forgotten it or the electric atmosphere at Old Trafford that night.

9 years old at the time sat with my dear old man,a night thats up with the likes of sunderland in 74,city league cup 74.
Brian will always be thought of as a Stretford End legend in that wonderful team of the Docs...RIP Brian.
