which auction houses should i use and which should i not use

If you have an impressionist masterpiece then I would try Sothebys or Christies.

If you have a pre-WW1 cup final programme then Graham Budd is probably the best bet.

If you have some agricultural machinery then there are a couple of firms in Lincolnshire.

It all depends really.
