Hibs v Blackburn 28/7/92 all that exists is a very rare single sheet which i recall was only available in the press area. From memory his Rovers debut was either this game or a friendly at Darlington

From info I have found his debut was v Hibs as this book states:

I am guessing that single sheet for Hibs demands a high price any idea on prices?

Just to clarify Posh, the teamsheet was also handed out in the corporate area at Easter Road on the night. I was there and if I recall it was indeed the debut for Alan Shearer. The Blackburn team came into the Toyota Lounge, as it was called, after the game for a few drinks and my mate got his teamsheet signed by Shearer and a couple of others.
We were speaking about this a few months back and I was informed that the signed sheet would have been skipped many years ago during a house move.
I still have my unsigned one though

Any idea how much this sheet will sell for if it ever comes up? Any contacts with one for sale?

just checked my records and i sold on ebay back in 2009 for £27 with 4 bids over £12.
You could try Almondvale programmes ( google it) as Brian picked up a lot of teamsheets from this period which he was selling about 6 months ago.

I know, he is not a collector and in hindsight I really don't know why I didn't get mine autographed at the time as well as it would have been a nice item, especially with the future career of Alan Shearer
You will realise but just to confirm that the sheet is B&W.
