The Prediction Cup starts this weekend.

17 teams were lucky enough to receive a bye to the next round (25th/26th Jan) and so can relax and do nothing this weekend.

For the remaining 30 teams its time to do battle.

5 ties are between 'newbie' sides
3 ties are 'all league clashes' - entrants in our Prediction League
7 ties are between League and newbies.

Derby 1884 v ToffeeDan looks an intriguing clash, just 2 points separate them in the northern Conference.
Burnley Collector takes on high flying kenners46 in arguably the tie of the round, although the prospect of two Leeds fans going head to head JohnnyP and Kcs shouldn't be estimated.

Good luck to you all, and don't forget to highlight one match to score double and don't forget there's an early kick off.

Regards Sharrowblade

I think I scraped through after the Mansfield goal - but I had the ball in the net (disallowed) several times (e.g. West Ham 2-1) before the winner - ultimately the big difference was the early goal at Brighton!
