That looks like a ticket for the Milan derby

That's what i thought, but who I got it off said that he used it it himself to get in the ground for the city game.

F.I.G.C. - is the Federazionale Italiana Giuoco Calcio (Italian Football Federation)
Lega Nazionale - is The International (not Lega Serie A, B etc)

Not sure about a Directors box ticket.

I know a few united fans who went to this game and also blues who came with us to united aways.
Using old tickets or buying a ticket for the next game to get in was very common in those days and i imagine a blue has used one of those old tricks to get in.
Wasnt the game called off for fog and citys offical party missed the game leaving only the independent lads to see the game the next day.
I remember brief highlights showing the goals,maybe the news at ten or football focus on the saturday?

please, if you know a great collector of Milan team... can you ask if he knows a programme for Milan vs Manchester 1979 Uefa Cup ?

as for the ticket, italian were used to sell those with "gara internazionale" - it means "international match" - those tickets were probably less expensive to print...

on Lazio historical website there's the ticket of Lazio vs Ipswich Town for Uefa Cup - played in Rome in 1973 - you can see written again "gara internazionale"

please, let me know for the programme of Milan -Mancity 79 !
