I've stumbled upon a ticket for a match at Hillsborough in these games. After a google search I discovered England played Iran and Holland at Hillsborough.

I never realised these matches were played, thought everything was at Don Valley Stadium.
Anyway, what I want to know is, was a programme issued for the football matches? I know its a long shot!
Also does anyone have info on the games, line-ups, score, scorers, attendance etc.

Cheers, Russ.

There was a tournament brochure for the football. It pops up every now and again on eBay, you should be able to get it for a couple of quid.

I'll give you more info later re fixtures and grounds but I went to the Semis (i think) at hillsborough, think South Korea won the first and GB lost the second? Believe the final was at Stocksbridge.

Games @ Hillsborough

Group Stage
Germany V Mexico
GB V Iran

Semis
Uruguay V South Korea
GB V Netherlands

I believe they were both played as double headers

Results there but the final wasn't at Hillsborough, it was Stocksbridge

Have you got a programme mate? If so is there any chance you could email me a scan of it?

Address is [email protected]

Cheers, Russ.
