I think the Carling Cup 1st Round draw is on Tuesday as well, although obviously you won't be in that.

I'm hoping for Aldershot, Dagenham or Barnet away Smile

Me too, albeit our season still hasn't finished yet! Kirkintilloch at home on Thursday night, Beith at home on Saturday, and Neilston away on Monday. Unfortunately will miss the last two becuase of (a) being at the Pudsey fair, and (b) working Monday night.

Just seen that Burton and Shrewsbury are in the Southern section too, so wouldn't mind either of them away either.

The north/south thing has been there for absolutely ages. Our first round opposition in reverse chronological order back to 1983:

Brentford, Walsall, Wycombe, Reading, QPR, Bristol City, Wolves, Peterboro, WBA, Millwall, Norwich, Gillingham, Reading, Peterboro, Norwich, Bristol City, Oxford, Walsall, Stoke, Exeter, Cardiff, Torquay, Hereford, Cardiff, Walsall, Colchester

IT's existed for a while in round one. The byes sometimes happen, it depends how many teams get into Europe, as teams that qualify for Europe come in at round 3

edit - Wednesday received a bye in round 1 in 2000/01, after being relegated in 1999/2000, so it has been around for a while.

Can't wait for the fixtures to be announced. Really looking forward to the Europa League Play Off Round draw aswell but that's a long way off!

I'm hoping for Burnley or Wolves away first game. If not then a London away will be good.
