Hi,

I'm looking to buy more 1950's programmes and to buy my first pre 1950 programme. However a lot of these programmes are quite expensive. Can anyone recommend any programmes that are not to expensive to buy off sites such as eBay?

Thanks.

You can stay away from the Swansea vs. West Ham 50's for a start, they're expensive enough as it is Wink

Try www.sportsprogrammes.net - I don't know how many West Ham programmes they have from this era, but I've found them very reasonable for ours that I've bought from them.

I mainly collect West Ham programmes and I am looking to buy 1950's West Ham programmes.

I am also looking to buy any 1950's programmes and just wondered if there are any that can be recommended at a reasonable price.

If you looking at any pre war, then Sheffield United Chelsea Arsenal and Spurs seem plentiful. It's worth looking at the Reserves section on ebay . Many teams pre war printed full programmes for reserve games , but they can often be bought for much cheaper than a first team game.
