Shill bidding is when sellers—or someone they know—place a bid on their item to drive the price up.

There is something i want to buy on ebay. It ends in 5 minutes and by comparing "Bidder 1"s (who is winning said auction) bidding history i can see he has bid on 8 of the sellers other items. The seller has 0 feedback and i highly suspect he is bidding on his own items... What should i do though, there are some good pieces in the auction but i dont like the fact that i am being cheated....

That does look dodgy. I'd put a report into ebay.

Yeah, i bidded up the item from about £3 to £20 with seconds to go but refused to bid higher, even though the items are worth a lot more than that (it was a poor ebay listing so attracted no interested - included a 1949 FA Cup final programme) as i am sure i was being manipulated. The item was 220426168032

I have reported all the details to ebay and confronted the person on Facebook. Ray Holmes is his name and he was friends with Programme Centre on facebook and infact alerted me to his auction once it started. After a little argument he has now deleted me as a friend.

When you look at the bidding Hostory, you will see that Bidder 2 has a yellow star after their name and Bidder 3 has a blue star, where as bidder 1 has nothing so means he has less than 10 on the feedback rating, so as you say just looks dodgy.
