Well well, i am so glad i managed to get two for £50, at the time I thought i was being had, but after seeing this on ebay, I think im the one who has got one over them ...Naturally I was pissed off at paying nearly 9 times cover price at the time !!

Looks like you had a right bargain - The five of them sold this morning for;
£111, £112, £124, £124 and £132
£132 for a programme thats only 4 months old and normally would cost £3!!!!!!! |

exactly, for the amount these 5 sold, plus the 50 quid i gave for 2 they could of easily done a run to cater for the fans who wanted them |

For all the good advertisement they get in Programme Monthly for the reproduction of articles they have I hope they get absolutely slated for this.
I used to have a lot of time for Charlton but this is utterly appauling. What a way to treat their collectors and those of Cardiff. _________________ Regards,

Re bitter taste. I fully understand why collectors can get so upset about such things, it is, however, entirely up to the individual whether or not they actually bid for the programmes.
Let's not forget, it's scarcity that pushes prices up throughout the whole of the programme world, otherwise all programmes would still be worth only thier face value. It's only our "need" to have such items that forces the price up - if nobody had bid for them they'd have been worthless. |
