In the midst of MPS greed claiming Duck houses ,Moat cleansing ,Flipping, £400 food bills,let us not forget the greed of some of the modern day Premiership Footballers.In the local Manchester paper it was reported a certain 19 year old Football player from Manchester City ,not even a regular first teamer was offered a good weekly deal .Danny Sturridge wanted almost twice as much before signing his new contract. He hasnt signed yet to date.Mind you £100.000 weekly payments for top players is the norm. now it seems .Even FA Chief Barwick earned £2 million for what ?
The likes of Stanley Matthews,Raich Carter ,Len Shackleton,
Dixie Dean,Billy Liddell,and the many greats of yesteryear would be appalled, I am sure.
