Hi,
Looking at the Liverpool v Middlesbrough programmes for 2000/01 and 2001/02 season, there appears to be two different covers to these programmes.
There are some stamped "Anfield Edition" that are priced differently and have a slightly different front cover layout from other programmes that are priced more expensively.

Was this "Anfield Edition" a feature of just these two seasons or are there other seasons where this difference occured.

Thanks

Hi

I only collect european lfc progs and for those 2 seasons they were identified as "anfield edition " - they are the large sized ones. Later programmes after those seasons don't have any differences.

I wasnt aware that there was much difference between the general ones and the Anfield editions at all. What is the main difference on the Boro one?

cheers John

the anfield edition was sold on matchday outside the ground and the other edition were sold in newsagents and sent out if you had a programme subscription.the only difference really was i think the anfield edition had a lucky number on which was used to win prizes in a prize draw
hope this helps

Cheers Lincoln - That was what I expected to hear - the only thing I don't know is if this only happened for these two seasons, or if there were any other where there were two distinct (just) covers?

Bit of a difference in price too.

One was £3, and the other cover price is £3.99

Sorry boroflag, carry on! Very Happy
