Didn't expect to get this many replies to be honest. I thought it would have been either a simple 'take them out' or 'leave them in' general opinion amongst collectors.

I think personally if they're rusty I'll take them out. Non-league ones especially as they don't seem to be as easy to come by as the league programmes.

All I need to do now is get some boxes/folders to store them in

rusty staples from 1945 are not going to be any mory rusty in 2045 if well protected.
