any newcastle united collectors out there ?

hi,just joined up today,iam a newcastle united supporter and collector,only missing 10 homes going back to 1945/1946 season,collect aways also have most from 1960/1961 season to date and quite a few from 1945/1946 to 1960/61,supprisingly only missing one away fom the 1946/1947 season,also collect england,iam missing 6 homes going back to 1945 and have approx 30 newcastle pre war homes and aways,any other newcastle collectors out there ?

Im sure there are mate but not many on site i think.
Big welcome to the site ,while amassing my collection the Newcastle v Portsmouth 57 was for some reason one of the hardest to obtain .
I have a couple of England progs going spare v Ireland (Windsor Park) 8/10/60 & N/I (W-P) 22/10/66 ......but i am sure you already have these in your collection.

hi,thanks,yes got them mate,the portsmouth one you mentioned is one of the slightly harder ones to obtain,so what team do you collect,is it portsmouth ?

Hi maty yes amungst others.
My collection consists of games my all time footballing hero the late Derek Dougan played in , six Football League Clubs , Portsmouth, Blackburn, Aston Villa , Peterborough, Leicester & Wolves covering seasons 1957 to 75, i have all progs from these games 500+ less some obscure ones from the early games of the Football League Cup 60/61.
Once again welcome to the site , and i am sure you will find what your looking fore here, a great bunch of blokes.

got a couple of 1945/46 Newcastle aways at the moment you may be interested in namely Barnsley and Sheffield Utd and if there is any Newcastle progs you need at all from the mid eighties on there is a very good chance Ive got it including europe home and aways so may be able to plug a few gaps for you if needed.
