Expect he is hoping that people that have kept that address in their favorites will click on it and go to his site.

I have allways used the proboards address so it doesn't get me to go there but some peeps may find his site and then buy something while there.

Agree with you though that while he is doing nothing wrong it is a little bit sneaky.
