Further to my thread on the Derby FA Cup Badge, thought I would highlight another Derby badge going for a serious amount of cash on e-bay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280629731493

Unfortunately, I don't have this one in my collection and it passed my budget many bids ago Crying or Very sad For saying we are supposed to be in tough economic times, it does not appear to be stopping some people.

As I have never seen another on e-bay or at a memorabilia fair, my guess on the final price is £205, but I could be well adrift. Anyone else want to have a guess on the final price ? (no prize to winner Very Happy)

Don't understand this badge collecting lark, sold an old Ipswich supporters metal pin badge for £7, once sold an ac Milan ipswich tiny pin badge for £110! What makes a badge collectable?

As with programmes, tickets etc., it is all about rarity, with the Man City programme against Aris being a prime example. The early Junior Rams badges are as rare as rocking horse sh*t and rarely come on to the market !

I suppose it is similar to Sheffield United collectors and the desire to own the Canadian Tour badge.

I think I may have gone a bit heavy at £205 but we will see Nod
