38

Suprised to see so many under 25's on here. I expected most of us to be late 30's / early 40's.

I for one am really happy to see so many under 25's collecting! And not just because I'm one of the youngest!

It shows that programme collecting is not a dying hobby and there is a constant stream of 'fresh blood' coming into the hobby.

It's also amazing how many different types of collections there are.
Some people collect programmes from their favourite player's career (molineux phil), others collect every derby your team has been involved in (myself) and others like Auchinleckian collect a wide variety of different teams!

What I also appreciate so much is that the older ones don't look down on us youngsters when we get something wrong or have different views.

It's those different views that make collecting progs, and the game itself so absorbing.
Long may it continue.

66!
(dob 08-12-1942)
Collecting for over 50 years.
Early arrivals - complete set of 1958 World Cup programmes (35) - paid less than £10 at the time from a dealer.
Red Star Belgrade v Manchester United (1958) - for the price of a stamp! (Wrote to the ground and asked for one, and it arrived)
