Hi All.

Im looking for information on England matches during WWII.
Ive seen 2 books available, "Soccer at war" By Jack Rollin and "Gas masks for Goal Posts" By Anton Rippon, does anyone own either of these books and can tell me, if either has the information i require ?

Soccer at war 1939-1945 is totally Recommended.482 pages with chapters on the Army,Navy ,and Airforce,Just before,and after the War.Inrenational ,and Representative matches,Amateur Soccer,Unusual happenings. and loads more.A records section with club appearancesLeague Tables.Some great photos too! A book recommended to all Football fans.Published @ £15 in 1985 purchased mine from Blackpool second hand bookstore for a £5 in 1990and probably best football book I have.
