I enjoyed yesterdays match/occasion more than any other this season. It's strange that drawing with Blackpool was more fun than hammering Newcastle 5-1 but it was a very exciting derby and played out it in a 70s style atmosphere thanks to Blackpool bringing 5,000 fans for the first time in over 30 years.
We should have been dead and buried with twenty minutes left but got an unlikely point and almost made it one of the great Bolton comebacks.

A small gripe with the programme. In the memory match section I was hoping to read about the 77/78 season when Bolton took 10,000 plus over to Blackpool at Xmas and did the double on them or even the 1989 Sherpa Van Northern Final. What did we get....the 1953 Cup Final when we got beat!

Could've been worse. At least you weren't at the Hibs St J's game yesterday, it was one of the dullest matches I can remember. The extreme cold didn't help matters any! Sad

Most unlikely for it to have been any worse for me as I don't watch the professional game in Scotland. Doesn't look any better for next week either - but at least I'm on nights then anyway!

So did I - and I'm thinking of missing the next game Lee Mason takes charge of at Goodison - either he's bent or utterly incompetent.

True, Lee Mason wasn't very good yesterday Dan, but I witnessed the worst performance I think I've ever seen from a Premier League Player.

Johnny Heitinga .......take a bow son.

We're got the delights of Gateshead away on a Friday night thanks to Premier Sports. That's bound to get at least a couple of hundred people watching TV ...
