The 1924 Scottish Cup Final programme has to be the highlight, it will be interesting to see how much it goes for.

I was going to post about the 1924 SCF. In the current Programme Monthly it's mentioned that this is the second known copy. Does anyone know if the first copy was for sale and if so when and how much it went for?
I'd love to be in the running for this but I'm sure it'll be way out my price range. Crying or Very sad

I remember about 20 years ago an Airdrie collector called Billy Peece ( who I now think is on PMs blacklist) had this programme and it gutted the main Hibs collector at that time.
Not looked at the auction catalogue yet, but I would think this one will prove to be the highest selling Scottish programme ever sold.

Hiya,

From what we have researched there has only been one other copy seen and that was a general admission version with One staple and a price on the front. This was last seen over 20 years ago.

The one for auction on the 29th November is a players / vip complementary issue.
The same programme but with 2 staples and "complementry" printed on the front cover instead of a price.

As for what the other one sold for all i know is that it was an part cash and part exchange deal involving some other high profile programmes.

What is currently the highest price for a Scotland/Scottish programme?

This one will of course attract a few big hitting Hibs collectors, as well as Rangers collectors and Big Match collectors. A recipe for a big price I would have thought.

The Sheffield Utd v Rangers 21/12/1901 programme in Sportingold today sold for £4000 plus fees. I've not been collecting that long but it's the most expensive programme involving a Scottish team that I've seen.

Any increase on £4k?!?

Anyone know what it sold for, if indeed it sold at all?

Jim

I was at the auction.

It didnt sell Jim, they had no commission bids or telephone bids for it , no bidding in the room and i believe no bids from the net.

Anybody pick up anything interesting? I was after some Bradford PA single sheets but they went for about £400! I got a few Burnley to sell on, but not the 60/1 League Cup single sheet against Forest, which was included in a lot of 1st season LC Clarets progs and went for about £180.
Also got a couple of cheapish lots of non league & single sheet stuff that may or may not prove worthwhile!

I put a bid in for an item. Where do I find the results? Are they online?
