just found this 1909 programme on ebay 180565863176 description reads as follows "hi i have the 1909 fa cup final programme between bristol city and manchester united played at crystal palace i got this programme of my great great grandad he was a massive bristol city fan who collected alot of football stuff i can not tell you a 100% if its real or a reprint but the programme is in ok condition with no rips" All seems ok until you look at postage £30 and the fact the same seller as this programme listed 4 times (grandad must have been a great collector in 1909). £30 x 4 = £120 + .99p for each programme £123.96 for four reprints. Even sadder he as two bids on them. Definitely a reprint so why over charge on postage Shocked

Add to that the other 4 he's already sold. Can't believe nobodys left him a negative yet. All obviously fakes with some selling for over £50 each

So, he's got 4 on offer AND he expects people to believe his tall story about his great grandfather stock piling the non photographed items?

Ebay really don't give a stuff do they?

Is a Suvaniar programme code for some foreign language and really means roll up, roll up, one born every minute ?
Not even a scanned picture cos the conman knows anyone with any knowledge would suss his caper immediately. Should we mass message him and ask for pick up only, then beat him up ?
No ? Maybe a tad excessive ok Wink

Had seen this one before, and he's undoubtedly a con man preying on people's ignorance.
I saw someone on ebay the other day who was advertising common as muck Newcastle 1970's programmes for a ridiculuous price, and all described as rare. I emailed him asking him if he could please advise me why they were each individually so rare. His reply was "their all rare" F***ing wonderful, just another rip off merchant who has no idea of what he's trying to sell, but willing to play on people's ignorance in an attempt to get them to pay ridiculous prices.

Has he really sold copies or is it another case of shill-bidding. His EBay feedback profile of 17 positives does not show any buyers of his "rare" programmes.

I can't believe serious collectors would be so gullible - still you never know.

No wonder the 1909 cup final was so rare until now as his great grandad must have bought them all on the day.
