As a Manchester United Programme Collector myself most of your wants are obtainable but for most expect to pay in excess of £50.The postponed homes games are becoming really hard to obtain believe me.
Keith Appelby of Programmes United,Chester issues a catalogue of Uniteds Homes and aways since the war.Ebay does list one or two mentioned by you ,but again one went for over £50,the other at £35.Good luck in your search ,and PM me for details of United specialists.

Many thanks for that info Kenred, At the 'Sporting Gold' auction, Northampton earlier this year, the Palace & QPR progs went for £100 + ! So I know its going to cost, but as you say, they are very scarce, I'll keep looking though, thats part and parcel of collecting, thanks again

Hi everyone,

Anyone seen (or got) a Manchester United v Arsenal programme from the Division 1 'home' game played at Maine Road on 17 January 1948 ??

Also, looking for both the Hull v Man United FA Cup programme from 1948/49 and the Hartlepool v Man United programme from 1956/57 !!

Just wanted to know how scare these programmes are now and an idea of prices they go for ??

There is definitely a programme for the 1969/70 game vs Leeds (Dec 20th) only seen it once on a dealers Offers List - starting at £250 - ouch!!

Hi Crowdedhouse - I have a Man.Utd v Arsenal programme for 17 Jan 1948 in quite fair condition and also Hull City v Man Utd (FAC) Feb 49 in very good condition. As a collector, not so sure I would want to let them go and certainly would not want to try and put a price on them - though might perhaps be prepared to consider an exchange - these days I am mainly interested in trying to get one pre-war of every league club and the same goes for wartime issues (I'll never achieve it, but it's good fun trying!).

Checked witha Leeds dealer at a recent game at Elland Road (Mick Beeton) who told me the Man Utd vs Leeds (postponed) 1969/70 prog recently went for £350! javascript:emoticon('')
