just wondering if any of you have any thoughts?

i collect a badge (home club) from every ground i visit to see a match.

99% of the time this is totally straightforward....but occasionally a dilemma pops up., neutral venues for finals/shared grounds/international stadia for example.

i have managed to decide over the years,...until one particular example, let me explain....

caernarfon v lancaster .....at curzon ashton's ground. i bought a curzon badge, even though lancaster were away to caernarfon.

bangor v ???????.....at wrexham, so i bought a wrexham badge rather than a bangor.

england v rep of ire ....at wembley, i bought a 3 lions england badge

blackburn v spurs....millenium stadium, a "match badge" was bought(date, venue and teams), otherwise a welsh FA badge would have been my choice.

livingston v hibs....hampden park......this is the one that has got me thinking.

no match badge that i can find mentions "hampden" on it.....just the teams and the date,....so the choice is between a SCOTTISH FA badge......OR......a QUEENS PARK badge to commemorate my visit to hampden.

decisions decisions......what would YOU choose?

i know this may seem fussy but i like to keep it regimented through my collection. similarly...although i've been on the barcelona ground tour....i did not buy a badge, cos i MUST see a match at the venue......a flying visit will not suffice No

i hope this waffle makes a bit of sense to you Laughing

No, not really. But we're all collectors. None of it 'makes sense' exactly. Confused Wink
