Some fantastic stuff on there, Paul, had no idea you had a Flickr site. You really should add some more of your treasure to it, I love looking at other collections like that, full of eclectic items & memories that all have their story to tell.

Not sure about that dodgy 80s/90s tash though mate.

Definitely wouldn't have bought a second-hand car off you!

It does not matter how big or small a collection is, it is about who is putting together and what interests them as it is a personal thing.

One thing i will say Paul is if you putting stuff on flickr where there are a few items in one image then it needs to be closer as if you cannot see the items clearly it loses the effect-just my view-keep at it FIND THE TIME, just devote 30 mins a night perhaps when everyone has gone to bed!

That's what I've been doing this year Leslie, just spending a couple of hours each night whilst I've got one eye on the telly.

I've tried to improve my presentation & images, mainly because I'm a bit OCD. All my badge images were originally scanned, so I've re-photographed many of them with my iphone & tripod to give better images.

The thing that took the most time though was re-cropping every image (all 8,000+ of them), so that every badge pic appeared the same size. Just a couple of hours each evening, the whole thing took me about three months in total, obviously with weekends off for serious drinking.

Really pleased with the results though.

I'm already wondering what I can do next, as it's very addictive.
