Leeds Unt 1961-62 Help With Autographs

Recently purchased a small collection of autographs. In with them was this page. It looks like the Leeds Unt squad 1961-62 written on an inside page from ‘Soccer With The Stars’ published 1961. I can pick out Tommy Younger, Paul Reaney, Jim Storrie, Gary Sprake and Jack Charlton . I think John Charles is there as well. Can anyone pick out any other names? The strange thing is , it looks like John Lennon’s signature in the centre of the page ( running down from the S in Stars). There could also be a scribbly P McCartney on the edge of the page . Could be my eyes deceiving me! I don’t think Leeds had a J Lennon in their ranks during this era. Anyone got any ideas. Thanks for any help.

Could be Paul Madeley along the bottom (as we look), rather than Paul McCartney! They had a player called Grenville Hair back then, he must be there somewhere. Plus Bobby Collins, Billy Bremner, Ian Lawson. Bit early for some of the others.

Thanks Pete, l think Madeley came on the scene a few years later. I checked his autograph , which is different than this . Great player wasn’t he! What looks like Lennon’s signature baffles me. If it’s a dodgy one ,, why stick it in the middle of what look like a set of genuine Leeds autographs? There doesn’t seem to have been any players, trainers, managers or other staff at Leeds during this period with a similar name. . Can’t work out why it is there. I know someone who runs Rock music auctions and l will ask him to have a look. I know during this period that if The Beatles were touring they would be asked to sign literally anything that came to hand.
